DNA2Diamonds – The Meaning Behind The Name

We are thrilled that the word about our amazing diamonds is spreading so rapidly.

We’ve been getting a lot of attention from customers, the media and our industry colleagues. It is an exciting time for us! We’re so happy people are learning about this one-of-a-kind option for engagements, anniversaries, birthdays, pets and much more.

While we are glad that people are talking, we want to make sure everyone has the facts straight as to what exactly it is that we do to create such a unique product.

The name “DNA2Diamonds” represents a road map of the diamond-creation process. We start with hair, which contains DNA, and convert it into carbon – which has the personal signature of the purchaser. Carbon is the primary component in the creation of any diamond, either in a laboratory or deep down under the earth’s crust.

We do not suggest that the DNA itself survives the high temperatures necessary to create this diamond, nor do we suggest that DNA can be identified in the finished diamond. Our name simply represents the amazing process we use to create the most personal diamond in the world. We wanted to clarify the connection between our Company name and the end product that we provide.

DNA2Diamonds uses only personal sources of carbon that are authorized by the Purchaser.
